06.07.10 - Aquilex Receives 19 NPRA Safety Awards

Aquilex Holdings LLC (“Aquilex”) is pleased to announce that its combined businesses – Aquilex Hydrochem, Aquilex SMS and Aquilex WSI – were awarded 19 Awards for Meritorious Safety Performance by National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) at their annual awards banquet on May 20, 2010.  The awards were given for work performed at 18 separate facilities.  The combined companies worked over 20,000 man-hours at each site with no safety incidents, achieving a perfect 0.0 Total Recordable Incidence Rate (TRIR).

Aquilex was the only company that received more than 15 awards with a perfect 0.0 TRIR.

According to NPRA, the Annual Safety Awards Program promotes accident prevention in the petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries as well as the contractors supporting them. Through the program, NPRA publicly recognizes those facilities that for the previous year have achieved a high safety standard in their daily operations.  These awards confirm Aquilex Corporation’s commitment to safety as a prerequisite for all work performed.   Aquilex is proud of this achievement and will continue to uphold this safety standard throughout all our businesses.
