Aquilex Hosts First Demo Days

41 customers from 12 different businesses joined Aquilex HydroChem at their first STARS^SM Demo Days.  From April 13th to April 17th, current clients and prospects from the refinery and petro-chemical industries were invited to Aquilex HydroChem’s corporate offices in Deer Park, TX to preview, first hand, some of Aquilex HydroChem’s and Aquilex WSI’s innovative technologies

Aquilex WSI demonstrated its welding technology for the ID, OD and pressure vessel pipe overlays.  Aquilex HydroChem demonstrated three different configurations of their GT SYSTEM^TM: a man-way mount, a tri-pod mount and a roof mount for Tank Cleaning service.

Both the single peinemann and triple peinemann were on display within the Flex Lance technologies along with Aquilex HydroChem’s latest flexlance innovation, the Duraflexxx machine.

The WaterLazer^TM team participated in the demonstration showcasing the RotoLazer^TM and HydroLazer^TM pipe cleaning technologies. They also performed a live demonstration of Aquilex HydroChem’s metal cutting abilities.

Aquilex HydroChem closed the event with a live demonstration of the state-of-the-art, 5 rotating lance heat exchanger tube cleaning system, STARS (synchronized tooling and robotic system). 

The event was initially created to showcase the new STARS technology, to show current customers the direction that Aquilex and Aquilex HydroChem are moving in and to introduce Aquilex and their family of businesses to existing and potential customers. “The event exceeded expectations. We are already working on another Demo Days. It was a great way to connect with current customers and to showcase and generate buzz about the new STARS technology,” stated J.J. Daniel, Director of Product Management at Aquilex HydroChem.
