Aquilex brings erosion/corrosion mitigation, boiler repair and overhaul, and a wide range of industrial cleaning solutions to service your outage and turnaround needs. Our unique resources and capabilities provide you with results critical to your schedule and quality needs.

Our Project Management teams will help you determine what services need to be performed during your outage and will design a plan and schedule that meets your needs. For your high-risk tasks and project scopes, we can help mitigate the financial and operational risk to the plant or facility by completing the work on time, within budget expectations, and at a quality level that assures ongoing reliability.

In addition, we can help you complete the full scope of work by subcontracting for other services, such as scaffolding, insulation removal and replacement, electrical, and others, or by providing craft workforce augmentation as needed.

The Aquilex Process

Outage Assessment

An Aquilex service representative takes part in the customer’s outage review and work scope planning to identify mechanical maintenance options that offer guaranteed improvement over conventional practices.

Solution Development

Aquilex knows and understands those elements that are critical in the solution development process. A wide variety of resources are available only from Aquilex, and those resources are generally put into play to derive alternatives and optimum solutions.

Project Management

Aquilex’s project staffing is trained in all aspects of resource allocation and industry management. Seasoned personnel bring the knowledge of outstanding tooling and repair design engineering and great communication skills to ensure high productivity and effective coordination.

Through cooperation with local inspection companies and facility management, our project managers are capable of adjusting resources to changes in projected work scopes and future planning. The result is improved plant knowledge, record keeping and budget maintenance.

Safety Management

Safety is a constant focus, with hands-on training and programs designed to acknowledge crews and management teams for putting safety first. Proactive safety management prevents work delays, saving you time and money and, most importantly, keeping your job site injury-free.

Safety strategies include heavy investment in training and feedback, daily jobsite methods reviews, equipment/tooling redesign, and site performance incentives. This allows the incoming labor to already be acclimated with site rules and regulations – so more energy can be devoted to work instead of training.

Quality Assurance

Aquilex is qualified under the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) “S”, “U”, and “NPT” certificates, National Board “R” and “NR” certificates, and has a full-service Quality Control Program to support the requirements necessary to perform work using those certificates.

• Welders and welding procedures are qualified in accordance with ASME Section IX and the Aquilex WSI QA Program.
• Inspection personnel are qualified and certified in accordance with ASME and ASNT-TCIA and the Aquilex WSI QA Program.
• Aquilex can provide inspection personnel to support our work performing MT, PT, UT, and Visual Weld Inspection.
